About Nigels Floors & More LLC

My name is Nigel Reid, and I am the owner of Nigels Floors & More LLC. My journey in the flooring industry began in 1996 when I joined the Carpenters Floorlayer Union apprenticeship program. From the very beginning, I learned that quality flooring is not just about materials, but about skill, discipline, and pride in workmanship. I completed the apprenticeship and graduated in 2000, gaining a strong foundation that continues to shape how I approach every project today.

Between 1996 and 2010, I worked with several flooring companies on a wide range of residential and commercial projects. Those years allowed me to learn firsthand how different flooring systems perform in real homes and working environments. I gained hands on experience installing hardwood, vinyl, tile, laminate, carpet, and specialty flooring, while also learning the importance of preparation, precision, and doing the job right the first time. Each project strengthened my respect for the craft and for the trust clients place in the people working in their space.
